Hot Rod Seats Redefine RVs

Tony’s custom coach used to have uber-plush bucket seats that resembled more recliner than automotive. Now, these front bucket seats boast custom wing supports and one-off black and red covers that go with the new theme of the RV. We hope Tony enjoys cruising in these captain’s chairs better than...

1969 Chevrolet Chevelle 396

Some cars pass hands as incomplete projects, just waiting to be made road-worthy. Donn bought this ’69 Chevelle and brought it to us to get it on the road, so that he and his family can enjoy it this summer. We know that our customers love working on their own cars, as Donn will be installing trim and interior parts to complete the car. Our job was to install the wiring, complete the mechanical under the car and hood, and install a headliner. Now, the car boasts a Painless wiring kit that is intentionally hidden under the hood and in the trunk, so that your eye doesn’t get drawn to the wire looms but rather the big block and the groceries. Suspension is tight, brakes are bled, and exhaust is fastened underneath. The SS emblems are drilled and installed. Best to Donn and his new...

1976 Ford Bronco Revived

Mike’s family-owned-since-’76 Bronco is now revived and houses some great new parts. The new Hedman Elite ceramic coated headers fit perfectly and direct exhaust through a custom hidden dual exhaust, made in house. The old two-barrel carburetor is gone and a 600 cfm Edelbrock carb with Performer manifold have taken over. The ignition system is tuned-up with NGK spark plugs, MSD Blaster 2F coil and Taylor 8mm wires. New hoses, belts and fluids all contribute to better reliability. The front coil springs are new and level out the front of the truck. Inside, new carpet and headliner give the interior a jump start without damaging the budget. Outside, new Goodyear Wrangler tires and painted steel rims finish out the ever classic Bronco...

AMX Engine and Interior

Last time we posted pictures of the AMX, the engine bay and interior weren’t finished. Now that the car is completed, we have a few shots of the engine bay and interior. Bill custom bent all brake lines under hood to match the stock routing, reinstalled the factory wiring harness as stock, and installed the newly rebuilt engine in the car. Inside, Bill and Mike reinstalled the dashboard and stock wiring, new bulbs, and repaired the circuit on the back of the gauge cluster. The car has new seat upholstery and carpet installed thanks to Mike, and it looks and feels great inside! Looking back to the day when the car came to us in dozens of boxes, we never thought this car would look this cool! We hope Curt enjoys his new big block...

1971 AMX 401 4-Speed

Curt’s 1971 AMC AMX came to us as a bare shell, with only the transmission and engine sitting in place and all trim, mechanicals, wiring, interior, and suspension needing installation. After a while of searching for holy-grail-like trim pieces and assembling a car that came to us literally in boxes, this unique 401 4-speed car is nearing completion. Mike installed the new seat upholstery and carpet, as well as all interior trim. Bill went through and installed the engine, transmission, driveline, rear end, brakes, and suspension. The latest is that the car now boasts a period-correct concept T-stripe. With the new stripe, the bold fender flares and the sharp chin spoiler come together in 70s muscle car attitude. The rear spoiler and valence and front chin spoiler are now permanently mounted. Bill cut-and-buffed the paint and Brad applied two coats of Carnauba wax to protect it. Needless to say, this 1971 AMX has come a long way since the day it showed up as that bare shell of a car. Take a quick look below at some shots of the car’s new...

Upholstery: Before and After

Seeing upholstery after it is complete only gives you a glimpse of the total experience. When you know what it looked like at the beginning, you have an appreciation for how it is when it’s finished. If your interior upholstery needs to be reworked or built from scratch, Mike can pull together a solution that fits what you want. As you will see below, Mike can upholster your project whether it be full custom like the Nova seats or stock replacement like the Mustang seats. Note that the ‘BEFORE’ photos appear before the finished ‘AFTER’ photos, so keep...
